Community Carpentry USA, Inc. (referred to from hereon in as “CCUSA”) established as a Nonprofit in 2015 in Birmingham, AL.. Operated for 3 years at 2025 S. Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32301.


Business Mission

Community Carpentry USA is a Community based Nonprofit 501c3 Organization. CCUSA teaches American Styled Basic Carpentry Skills to young adults 18-25. We build Tiny Houses over a 6 Month Period, helping to reduce UnEmployment that leads to Crime, Violence, Recidivism & Homelessness.


Expand Program

CCUSA has been operating an abbreviated version of our Carpentry Training Program since March 2021. With your Tax Deductible Gift we will fully implement this Program in 2023. When these Students learn Basic Carpentry Skills it will open up many opportunities for them in the Construction Industry. Community based WorkForce Development is the answer. Community Service Work required.


Funding Request

CCUSA requests a combination of Donations, Funding, In Kind Services and/or Sponsorships and Volunteers that total $250,000.00. The Funding is for operating (Two) 6 Month Classes of CCUSA’s Carpentry Training Program. Once CCUSA completes each Tiny House, we will Sale or Auction it to the Public. The proceeds will help Fund CCUSA’s Operating Budget. Students receive stipend ea. week.


Purpose for Operating Budget - Funding Amount $250,000.00

Operating Budget: Management, Payroll, Office Supplies, Tools & Building Materials.


We Won Grant: (UAB) Nonprofit 2014 Corporate Donations: Home Depot NE, Staples North thru 2023


The Return will be 24 New Young Productive Carpenter Helpers each year, that are Tax Payers. America will enjoy a more Productive & Peaceful Society, from this Crime Prevention and Intervention Program.


Business Goals and Objectives

Short Term: Secure Full Funding to build our Capacity. These Funds will allow us to hire more Carpentry Instructors, Office Staff, and a Grant Writer/Fundraising Manager. We plan to strengthen our Website, Social Media and Marketing Strategy. We also plan to retain an Attorney and CPA Firms.

Long Term: Secure Full Funding for 3 to 5 years to solidify our Program in the City of Tallahassee. We plan to Scale Up our operations to be able to train 48 to 72 New Young Carpenter Helpers each year.
